Endorsements - Why People Support Jim

My husband, Michael, and I have known Jim Smith for over forty years. We count him as one of our closest and dearest friends; a person for whom we have great affection and respect.
Among his admirable qualities are his kindness and concern for others. He is one of the best fathers we have ever known and his interest in the well being and education of children has always extended beyond his immediate family.
We were thrilled to hear that he had chosen to run for trustee of the K.I.S.D. and we feel he will make an outstanding contribution to the community and the to the quality of education in the district if allowed to serve.
We heartily endorse his candidacy.

Klein residents are indeed fortunate to have Jim Smith running for a trustee position on the Klein Independent School District School Board.
As long time residents of Klein, Jim and his wife Karen are entrenched in the community and are keenly aware of issues relating to education. Both sons, Jeff and Stephen are graduates of Klein I.S.D. and Karen is a Klein elementary principal.
Having known Jim since high school, I can testify to his integrity, keen knowledge, and truly caring nature. What a find!!!
Elect Jim Smith !!!!

Rebecca and I have known Jim and Karen Smith for over 30 years. Throughout these years Jim's interest in education has been consistent. We have had innumerable conversations about schools, student needs, and what might make schools more effective in accomplishing their mission of enriching the lives of all the children and young adults in their charge.
Jim is fair-minded and analytical in making decisions. His long-term interest in education naturally comes to fruition in his seeking a Klein School Board position.
He is an ideal candidate in his own right, but when one considers all that he knows through observing and helping Karen in her years of service as an educator, we cannot imagine a better choice.

While I no longer live in the Klein area, I would like to add my name to the list of those concerned citizens who wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of Jim Smith for the Klein ISD school board. Jim's keen analytical mind, his problem-solving skills combined with a calm demeanor and pleasing personality make him an asset to any group, particularly one as important and influential as the school board. As a parent, I would want someone exactly like Jim representing me, my children and especially their hardworking teachers and administrators. He is innovative and caring - a genuine advocate for student success on all campuses. If you do not know this outstanding resident of Greenwood Forest, please take the time to meet him and see for yourself what he has to offer; Klein ISD is a great place and a vote for Jim Smith will help maintain that excellence.
